NANSENSE offers onsite capture services. Our engineers will travel to your location and work with you from start to finish. This involves setting up the system, training the actor and recording motion capture data. You can request for the data to be post-processed and applied directly to your characters.
You can schedule a support session with one of our technicians either from our North American or European offices. Support calls are aimed at verifying the correct operation of the system and to discuss potential problems. You have the option to send it back for repair if it is physically broken.
Although the systems are intuitive to use, motion capture can be difficult and onsite training is available at an additional cost. Training is suitable for those entirely new to motion capture. Our technicians will travel to your location to teach you how to use your system for the first time.
System rental is a cost-efficient alternative to buying a system, especially for those interested in a one-time capture for a project. Although training is included, the systems require a basic understanding of motion capture. System rental is ideal for evaluation purposes when demo units are unavailable.
NANSENSE systems have been used to animate characters in front of live audiences. Data produced by the systems can be retargeted directly to characters for live performances and real-time digital puppetry. The systems become invisible when worn underneath clothing.
Every production house and research institution we work with uses distinct tools and practices for capturing and processing motion capture data. NANSENSE offer data cleaning services on a project basis to assist your production. Your data can be perfected in-house by one of our animators or outsourced to one of our partners. We have specialized tools and pipelines to improve the quality of your motion capture data.
NANSENSE offers glove rentals for high-resolution finger captures. The gloves are designed to work with optical motion capture stages and will produce finger data in situation where optical markers placed become unusable. Our engineers will join your production to ensure that all data is captured correctly.
